Chilling...

You don't see this everyday...

"Emmis Television asks all WVUE employees to please contact us and let us know you are okay. Call collect 1-415-435-8810 or e-mail kmontour@emmis.com We want to get you help and let your friends and co-workers know you are safe. Please call or email and give us a contact phone number or an e-mail address if you have one."

And...if you thought that wasn't enough...

"Hearst Argyle Television asks WDSU-TV 6 employees to please contact Hearst-Argyle TV. Call collect 1-212-887-6820 / 1-212-887-6810, or e-mail LLange@hearst.com. Please let us know if you are ok, if you have a phone number or access to e-mail and where you can be contacted."

It's very tragic when you have to appeal to the public in order to find your employees. I hope the main female anchor at WWL in New Orleans found her family safe. It was just plain coincidence I was watching their live streaming coverage when she was informed of something, i'm affraid, horrific had happened to a loved one.
